I'm Mabel Alcock.
From a young age, I knew exactly what I wanted: to be an artist.

Sketchbooks full of stories and characters spilling out of the margins, and an instinct for connecting with people through art that hasn't left me since.
I focused on traditional fine art in high school, winning Best Visual Arts Student and a scholarship.
I studied animation across several disciplines at Leeds Arts University, graduating with an honors First Class Degree.
Interning at Plucky sparked a deep interest in main titles and title design; the art of setting tone, world, and feeling in under two minutes. That curiosity became the foundation of my dissertation, which explored how typography, colour, and layout shape narrative and visual storytelling in main title sequences.
Eventually, I'm drawn to the idea of working fluidly between Los Angeles and London. In creative direction or outreach, making work that reaches people wherever they are.
For now, I'm focused on getting my foot in the door, building experience, and growing connections through creativity.
